Why it is said that one becomes complete only after marriage?

If you write in regular language for serious media like ours, it will be helpful.

However, the question is Interesting.

If your views are correct, the Lord need not have given birth to the men and could have created only women.

Just imagine how this world will be if there is no men in this world!

If all people are women, this world will not be attractive. Same applies to the world in which ALL are men.

If all are men or all are women, the population can not multiply and the earth will become empty.

So, we need the presence of opposite sexes for multiplying the population.

And, if the people should gain interest to live in this world, they should have some attachment with the persons of opposite sex. Otherwise, they will lose interest to live.

It is said by the elders that a woman will become complete only if she marries a boy. Same for the boys. Only if they marry the girls, they will become full men.

Why?

Because, they would have understood the opposite sex practically. They would have understood the what male-female relations are.

They will give birth to children and cultivate them and hence they would have understood this world better than others.

Moreover, both the husband and wife sacrifice themselves to each other. That is, they were living for themselves. Now, they live for their family members.

They construct a house for them and learn the pains of it.
While leading their material life, they also involve in devotional practices together as husband and wife. So, they understand the God, how to love the God, etc.

Thus, when a girl marries a boy or a boy marries a girl, she/ he understands the material world fully and practically and also advance in devotion to God.

So, they become complete in knowledge and experience. They leave this world understanding everything.

That is why it is said that a woman needs a man (or) a man needs a woman to become complete.

So, do not hesitate to marry. If you are destined to have marriage, you can’t avoid it; Similarly, if you are not destined to have marriage, you can’t whatever you try.

So, if you get the chance to marry, that means, you are destined to understand this world as a grahastha, ie, married person.

Face the life along with your spouse.

You can understand the nature of the whole world better and become a complete person with full experience.
